Earn Sparklet tokens by engaging with Upland's 'Share and Build' airdrop series. Connect your Twitter account, complete missions, and receive rewards. Get ready for the Sparklet token tradability event.

Upland, the innovative crypto game revolving around real-world locations, has just unveiled the initial phase of its "Share and Build" airdrop series. This initiative is designed to reward both active community members and newcomers for their engagement with the Upland platform prior to the launch of its Ethereum token.

This first phase will enable users to accumulate Sparklet tokens, Upland's existing in-game utility token utilized for constructing buildings and generating content. Participants can earn these tokens through various social media activities and in-app missions spread out over a three-week period.

Users have the opportunity to link their Twitter (aka X) accounts and accrue points by interacting with Upland and Sparklet content on this social media platform. These points will then be converted into Sparklet tokens within the Upland game environment. This approach to airdrop farming, centered around Twitter engagement, harkens back to similar initiatives involving Portal and BlockGames tokens.

Last November, Upland, which operates on the EOS blockchain, announced its intention to launch an Ethereum token linked to its in-game Sparklet token. The community voted on a whitepaper outlining Upland's plans, with an overwhelming 87% of users expressing approval.

Following the airdrop campaign, a token tradability event (TTE) will take place, allowing users to convert their in-game Sparklet currency into a tradable Ethereum token.

"We're thrilled to kick off the 'Share and Build' airdrop series as we prepare for the Sparklet event. This initiative perfectly aligns with our vision of nurturing a vibrant Web3 ecosystem and rewarding dedicated players," remarked Dirk Lueth, co-founder and co-CEO of Upland, in an official statement.

This inaugural phase of the airdrop campaign introduces 10 distinct reward tiers, with users' engagement levels and social metrics on Twitter influencing their point multipliers. Participants affiliated with select, yet-to-be-disclosed Upland partners will also receive "point boosts" to enhance their earnings.

Furthermore, upon completion of each subsequent airdrop chapter, participants will receive a unique Block Explorer NFT, which serves as a game asset within Upland. Accumulating five such rewards unlocks an exclusive NFT for utilization within the Upland game environment.

Originally established in 2019 as a property-trading game, Upland has evolved into a comprehensive metaverse experience featuring vehicles, events, and diverse gameplay opportunities. Upland recently secured $7 million in funding through a Series A extension round last November.
