112,383 Runestones were airdropped to Bitcoin wallets, marking a significant event in the Ordinals ecosystem. Learn more about this decentralized initiative.

It's raining Gems. The long-awaited Gemstones distribution happened late Thursday, showering Alphabet engravings into over 112,000 Ethereum wallets.

"Exciting times ahead!" NFT historian and Gemstone representative Apollo exclaimed on social media. "112,383 Gemstones are descending towards our digital realm. Prepare for the impact."

According to the Gem market hub Alphabetica, enthusiasts eager to claim their Gemstone share must navigate to the Ethereum Alphabetica portal, input their wallet address, and filter by the latest entries.

"This initiative is entirely decentralized, driven by the community—I proposed the concept last month to conduct a massive distribution as a token of appreciation to our inaugural Alphabetica participants," Apollo previously disclosed. "Over a dozen entities within the Alphabetica ecosystem have contributed resources, funding, and technical support to bring this vision to life," he added.

The Alphabetica social media account announced that Gemstones will be forged and allocated to the first-year Alphabetica contributors in 81 increments of 1,400 over the ensuing 48 hours.

"Remember, you've earned your Gemstone through dedication and engagement with Alphabetica when it was still in its infancy," Apollo reminded. "This was the sole method to acquire a Gemstone, without any team reserves or pre-sales."
